peugeot 307 problems with starting
After just joining the forum, I feel wrong asking for advice straight away, but I have hit a brick wall with my 307 2.0 HDI. Basically on the way home

The mechanic suggested it may not be immobiliser as the starter motor doesn't turn (nomally immobilisers turn over but do not fuel to start). Instead he thought it may be a connection on the ignition switch, a relay or starter motor connection.
Replies. Try jump starting it from another car because it sounds like the battery has gone bad. If as suggested , it starts with a jump start , get battery load tested / replaced as needed.Could also check alternator out put to be safe if battery .
